Entrance to the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum, which is located next to The Carter Center in a 35-acre wooded park just five minues from downtown Atlanta. Together, The Carter Center and the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum comprise The Carter Presidential Center. Grounds include formal gardens, including a garden with 40 varieties of roses, sculptures, and waterfalls tucked between two small lakes in a serene Japanese Garden.
