Carter Center Charitable Donations - Ambassadors Circle Founded in 1997 by President and Mrs. Carter, the Ambassadors Circle honors the vision and generosity of individuals who support the Carter Center's operations and program needs with unrestricted charitable donations of $1,000 or more annually. Membership currently stands at more than 2,900 and continues to grow rapidly as supporters see the effectiveness and timeliness of the Carter Center's vision and the critical needs addressed by Center programs.
Members of the Ambassadors Circle have a unique relationship with The Carter Center. Ambassadors Circle members receive an invitation to visit The Carter Center every year for a special, firsthand executive briefing with senior Center experts. They report on work and projects accomplished over the course of the year with the funds provided by members of the Ambassadors Circle. President and Mrs. Carter also host a presidential reception honoring Ambassadors Circle members following the briefing. In addition to this special opportunity, members receive President Carter's trip reports and Carter Center publications and are listed in the annual report Honor Roll of Donors.
As you choose your support in the Ambassadors Circle at the Cabinet, Diplomat, Envoy, or Emissary level, you will join others who recognize that an Ambassadors Circle gift makes a difference in the lives of millions worldwide.
