Ivan Allen III Pavilion


Located in the Ivan Allen III Pavilion, the nondenominational Cecil B. Day Chapel is an elegant auditorium suitable for an array of events and meetings.  From film screenings, wedding ceremonies, and concerts, to training seminars and multi-day conferences,  this truly unique space offers an unforgettable event experience for your guests. 
 
The Ivan Allen Pavilion Main Foyer is included with the rental of the Cecil B. Day Chapel, or may be rented separately. The Main Foyer is perfect for seated meals, cocktail receptions, champagne toasts, breakfast buffets, hors d' oeuvres, and much more!

Rental includes use of upper and lower foyers, perfect for refreshments, receptions, or breakout sessions.

• Theater-style seating accommodates up to 450 guests, including fixed balcony seating for 144
• The Green Room, a private room located off the lower foyer, is available for use
• Exclusive circular drive is conveniently located off the Ivan Allen main foyer, making arrival and departure simple for your guests

• Main foyer provides a breathtaking skyline view of downtown Atlanta
• Room décor within the Cecil B. Day Chapel features a magnificent crystal chandelier, matching wall sconces, and ornate silk-covered walls
• Raised, and newly refinished, hardwood stage is off set by a dramatic three-story backdrop of windows overlooking the grounds

• Private courtesy telephones available in the lower foyer for your guests' convenience

• House public address (PA) system for speech reinforcement and media playback
• Multi-feeds plug into house sound; press conference-ready
• Sound feed extends to pre-function space in the Ivan Allen Main Foyer
• All inputs and outputs from chapel are duplicated at loading dock for television production trucks and/or satellite up/downlink
  
  *All audiovisual services for events held in the Cecil B. Day Chapel are serviced by the Center's exclusive audiovisual provider, Lighting and Production Equipment, Inc. (L&PE), for an additional fee.  Upon submitting your reservation request form to The Carter Center Events Office, contact LP&E representative Mike Rutherford (information at left) to discuss your audiovisual needs.
